When we launched our Day Pad back in 2023, we knew it was just the beginning. From the start, our mission was to listen, learn, and evolve—always with your feedback at the heart of what we do.
So we asked. And you answered.
Through reviews, subscription feedback, and one-on-one interviews, one message came through loud and clear: you wanted a bigger, more secure pad. Our community told us they needed more coverage, especially for heavier flows. You asked for wider wings, a shape that stayed put in your underwear, and a design that better met your needs.
We took that seriously.
The Shape Project: A Year of Listening, Testing, and Refining
Improving the shape wasn’t a quick fix. We spent nearly a year redesigning the pad, creating dozens of prototypes that balanced comfort, absorbency, and flushability. Every change we made was tested and re-tested.
We ran multiple home trials with 150+ brand-new testers each round. We even hosted a hands-on workshop in central London where some of our subscribers reviewed competitor pads and created their own ideal designs with scissors and paper (it was as fun as it sounds!).
Every trial brought us closer to the perfect shape.
Meet the New Medium Pad
The result? A completely redesigned pad that we’re proud to introduce as our new Medium Pad. It’s now much more aligned with the industry standard for medium absorbency—but still uniquely ours.
Here's what makes it special:
-
More coverage, for better protection during heavier flows
-
Wider wings, to stay in place more securely
-
Better fit across more body types, making it more inclusive
-
Reduced side leakage, based on extensive customer testing
-
Higher satisfaction scores, every time we tested it
And here’s something behind the scenes: this new shape runs more smoothly on our high-speed production lines, meaning we can make pads more efficiently. That helps us grow, which means more products, more innovation, and more support for our community in the future.
Why We’re Discontinuing the Small Winged Pad
With the Medium Pad now outperforming the old small winged pad across the board, we’ve made the decision to retire the small size. We know change can be hard —especially if that pad was your go-to—but we’re confident this new shape offers a better experience for more people.
What’s Next?
If you loved the old small pad, you might want to check out our new liners. They’re made from the same soft, high-quality materials and offer great absorbency — just in a smaller form.
And we’re not stopping here. We’re also working on a Long Pad, designed for even more coverage and absorbency. It’s coming later this year, so stay tuned!
To everyone who joined a trial, filled out a survey, or shared feedback — thank you. This new pad exists because of you. You’ve helped shape a product that will work better for thousands of people.
Here’s to always building better—together.
