Yes. Fluus pads have passed a rigorous tests following an internationally-recognised flushability protocol. Tests simulate the conditions in the toilet, drainline, sewage network and wastewater treatment centre to test whether they are broken down sufficiently at each stage. Tests were conducted by an independent lab and we’re proud to say Fluus pads passed.

Septic tank: Yes, though the pad may take longer to break down.
Macerator: We don’t recommend flushing — bin it instead. -
Yes. While flushing is best for the environment, Fluus pads are 100% biodegradable and much better than conventional pads, even in landfill.

If your toilet can handle 12 sheets of toilet paper, it can likely flush a Fluus pad. Avoid flushing in weak, old plumbing or where signs say not to.

Follow the sign and bin it. Although these signs are usually to prevent non flushable products being flushed, it may be that the system is not well maintained or is often abused by other users. And - many places just don’t know truly flushable pads exist — yet!
